Ören is a small holiday resort on Milas's southern coast. The beach is spacious, with exceptionally clear water where you can see the bottom, and fine shingle instead of sand. Despite high occupancy in summer, it's less commercial than Bodrum—more modest and unpretentious, more of a local beach.\r\n\r\nÖren is also home to the ancient city of Keramos. Around the beach you can see Roman-era monumental tombs, fountain ruins, and traces of city walls. So here you can enjoy both seaside pleasures and an ancient sites tour.\r\n\r\nNearby the beach is also a landing point for paragliding descents.
