Sesli anlatımı dinle

Milas Museum opened its doors to visitors in 1987; its two-story building sits within a 1.5-hectare garden. A significant portion of artifacts from this region of Muğla is gathered here: finds from excavations at ancient settlements including Mylasa, Labraunda, Euromos, Iasos, and Beçin.\n\nAmong the displays inside you'll find terracotta lamps, golden jewelry, statues, funerary stelae, and everyday objects from the Carian civilization. In the garden, there's an open-air exhibition—column capitals, sarcophagus fragments, and architectural elements.\n\nThe museum stands just beside the Mausoleum of Hekatomnos. So the pieces that emerged from excavations are displayed just a few meters away—a proximity that's wonderfully convenient for your visit.\n\nImportant note: There are plans to relocate the museum to the vicinity of the Gümüşkesen Monument. Before visiting, do confirm it's open.\n\nPhone: 0252 512 39 73
